PROFEED ANIOSALT decreases blood pH, which is important because drying cows are not losing ingredients increasing blood pH. High blood pH blocks the thyroid action and bovine parathormone is not produced. This hormone is responsible for the proper mineral balance in an organism, regulates diffusion of minerals from blood to cells and its lack results in such large physiological changes that perinatal paresis (fever) can occur. PROFEED ANIOSALT provides sufficient amount of Calcium and Magnesium during the most crucial period of life for cows.
